New York, NY (Sports Network) - Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder has been named the National Leagues Player of the Week for the period ending September 21. J.J. Watt Authentic Jersey . It was his second career weekly award with his previous one coming back in May of 2007. Other nominees for the award included the Fielders teammate, J.J. Hardy (.480 with three RBI); Philadelphias Brad Lidge (four saves, 0.00 ERA with eight strikeouts); San Franciscos Bengie Molina (.367 with two home runs and six RBI); Colorados Chris Iannetta (.421 with three home runs and six RBI) and Pittsburghs Ryan Doumit (.400 with one home run and eight RBI). Pena batted .368 with a pair of doubles and three home runs among his seven hits, while driving in 11 runs to help the Rays clinch their first-ever playoff berth. He posted a .947 slugging percentage with an on-base percentage of .500, and drove in at least one run in his last six games. This marked Penas second career weekly honor.
