NASHVILLE, Tenn. Wes Hopkins Jersey . (AP) -The Nashville Predators are being optimistic, just as they have all season in their improbable run to the playoffs. Yes, they blew the chance to go up 3-2 in their opening-round series with the Chicago Blackhawks along with the opportunity to return home to clinch a trip to the Western Conference semifinals for the first time in the franchises history. Worse, it all happened with 13.6 seconds left. Nashville defenseman Dan Hamhuis says they feel they can bounce back again Monday night to avoid elimination. But he is very sore after being boarded by Marian Hossa in Saturdays 5-4 overtime loss. The NHL had a hearing with Hossa on Sunday and executive vice president Colin Campbell said in a statement that the play does not warrant additional discipline because Hossa is not a repeat offender and that the call of a major penalty by the referee was significant and appropriate. Ellis, who played one game with Dallas in 2003-04, stopped 19-of-20 shots to pick up the victory for Nashville, which bounced back after dropping a 5-2 decision to St. Louis in its season-opener. FIFA has been rocked by new allegations of graft after a British parliamentary committee last week heard testimony about bribes being offered during the bidding process to host the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. The corruption allegations attracted wide coverage in the British press, with reports branding FIFA officials sleazeballs and rotten to the core.Pittsburgh, PA (Sports Network) - Peyton Manning threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score to Dominic Rhodes with 3:04 to play, and the Indianapolis Colts hung on for a 24-20 win over the Steelers, their first win in Pittsburgh in 40 years. The Colts franchise last won in the Steel City in 1968 and had gone 0-12 in Pittsburgh, including the playoffs, between that win and Sunday. "I think this win is real big for us," said Colts defensive end Dwight Freeney. "Its important that we get some momentum, and this game is definitely a momentum builder. Its not easy winning on the road at this place . Its been 40 years since we won here. It was a big win for us." Reggie Wayne had six catches for 114 yards, and Tim Jennings made a big interception to set up the go-ahead score for the Colts (5-4), who have won two straight to get back above .500 on the season. Manning completed 21-of-40 passes and was not intercepted. "I thought we hung in there," said Colts head coach Tony Dungy. "Still some things we could do better." Ben Roethlisberger, playing despite a shoulder injury that kept him out of practice until Friday, completed 30-of-42 passes for 284 yards with three interceptions for the Steelers (6-3), who fell into a first-place tie in the AFC North with Baltimore. The Ravens ripped Houston, 41-13, on Sunday. Hines Ward had nine grabs for 116 yards, and Mewelde Moore, filling in for the injured Willie Parker, who was sidelined for the fifth time in six weeks, rushed for 57 yards and two scores on 24 carries. Parker returned after a four-week absence for Mondays win over Washington, only to suffer a shoulder injury in that game that sidelined him on Sunday. Jennings stepped up and made a big play to set up the go-ahead score. On 3rd- and-4 at the Pittsburgh 34, Roethlisberger threw over the middle for Santonio Holmes. Jennings leapt in front of Holmes and ripped away the ball for the interception, setting up Manning and the Colts offense at the 32. Four plays later Manning hit Rhodes in stride down the right side for a 17- yard touchdown pass, and the Colts took a 24-20 lead with 3:04 to play. The Steelers had one last chance, starting at their 27. Roethlisberger drove Pittsburgh to the Indy 32, but a holding penalty and a sack set him back and forced the Steelers to burn their last timeout with 35 seconds left. Bills Fred Jackson Jersey. A 16-yard connection on 3rd-and-21 to Moore moved Pittsburgh down to the 27, but with a spike not an option since it was fourth down, the Steelers had to hurry to get off one last play. Roethlisberger got the snap off with just one second left, rolled back and to his left, and threw into the right side of the end zone. Two Steelers had a chance to make the potential game-winning touchdown catch, but Melvin Bullitt grabbed the tipped ball for the game-ending interception. "It was a rough game," said Steelers linebacker James Farrior. "They made the plays when they needed to. Coach Tomlin (Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin) told us all week that they are a team that likes to score before the half and score at the end of the game. Thats what happened to us today." Moores one-yard scoring plunge gave the Steelers the lead with 9:07 left in the first quarter, but Manning threw deep for Wayne on the next drive, and pass was almost intercepted by Ike Taylor, who instead tipped it right to Wayne. The Colts receiver hauled in the pass and ran the last 30 yards for a 65-yard touchdown, tying the game at 7-7. Another one-yard TD run by Moore put the Steelers back in front early in the second quarter, and a 42-yard Jeff Reed field goal gave Pittsburgh a 17-7 lead with 4:18 left in the half. A Keiwan Ratliff interception of Roethlisberger late in the half set up Mannings two-yard TD toss to Dallas Clark, though, cutting Pittsburghs lead to 17-14 with six seconds left in the half. Adam Vinatieris 36-yard field goal tied the game at 17-17 in the third quarter but the Steelers marched on a 14-play, 64-yard drive that used up 8:27. However, the team settled for a 24-yard Reed field goal and a 20-17 lead with 7:57 remaining. Game Notes The Baltimore Colts defeated Pittsburgh 41-7 on September 29, 1968.
