"Obviously I dont want to be in this position, but this is a good time for us to come together here and kind of raise our middle finger and just do it together," Boyle said. Boyle: "Yeah, I think so. I think you can always improve, obviously. Were down 2-0 so something needs to get better and I think it can start with the physical play." Q: When a team is faced with a 2-0 deficit can it sometimes be good to get away and get together in a hotel and bond? Boyle: "Yeah, its good to be on the road sometimes. You eliminate some of the distractions you have at home and in this case, yeah, its good for us to get out of here and try to get this series back on track." Q: Do you need maybe a little more hate for those guys, more tension in the series, but still within the boundaries? Boyle: "Yeah, whatever it takes. Whatever it takes. I think we can all look at ourselves in the mirror and realize what were doing is not good enough. Whatever it takes for every individual to get better and have an impact on the series. The past is the past. You have to live with what were doing today and it hasnt been good enough." Q: When you think of their high-end guys, Jonathan Toews in particular, has anything taken you by surprise? Boyle: "In particular, no. I mean, theyre who we thought they were and theyre doing what theyre supposed to do. We need to raise our game and have our top guys raise their games. Theyre doing what theyre supposed to do."
