(Sports Network) - The Detroit Red Wings will try to complete an incredible comeback when they visit the San Jose Sharks at HP Pavilion for tonights decisive Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals. Vick Jerseys . You can watch the game live on TSN and TSN Mobile TV and take part in the live blog, all at 8:30pm et/5:30pm pt. The second-seeded Sharks won the first three tests in this best-of-seven set, but Detroit has evened the series at 3-3 by taking the last three encounters. With one more win tonight, the Red Wings will become the fourth team in NHL history to win a series after falling behind three-games-to-none. Of course, the Philadelphia Flyers pulled off the feat last spring against Boston, becoming the first team to achieve the ultimate comeback since the 1975 New York Islanders. The other time it happened was in 1942, when Toronto erased a 3-0 deficit to defeat the Red Wings in the Stanley Cup Finals. After recording a pair of 4-3 victories in Games 4 and 5, the third-seeded Red Wings evened the series at three games apiece with Tuesdays 3-1 victory in Detroit. Valtteri Filppula notched the game-winning score in the third period as the Red Wings took their third straight contest in Game 6 at Joe Louis Arena. Henrik Zetterberg and Darren Helm also scored for the Red Wings and Jimmy Howard made 24 saves for the victory. Detroit is the eighth team in NHL history to even force a Game 7 after being down 3-0. The Chicago Blackhawks did the same against Vancouver in this years opening round, but the Canucks took the decisive tilt in overtime. "To be honest, I didnt think we should have been down 0-3, we could have won them all, but so could they," Detroit head coach Mike Babcock said. "Thats how tight this has been." The Red Wings are 3-2 as the guest in this years playoffs after posting a phenomenal 26-11-4 road record during the regular season. San Jose is 3-3 on home ice in this postseason and was 21-14-6 at the Shark Tank during the season. The winner of tonights Game 7 will begin the Western Conference finals on the road, as the opener of that set is scheduled for Sunday in Vancouver. The top- seeded Canucks claimed their spot in the conference finals after eliminating Nashville on Monday. Logan Couture tallied the lone goal for the Sharks on Tuesday, while Antti Niemi played well in defeat, stopping 42-of-44 shots. San Joses Patrick Marleau once again failed to reach the scoresheet in Tuesdays loss. The veteran forward has no points in this series after posting two goals and three assists in the first round against Los Angeles. Despite blowing the 3-0 edge in this series, San Jose is still confident it can use home ice advantage to win tonights all-important contest. "Just ask Detroit. They lost three in a row and their confidence wasnt frayed," San Jose captain Joe Thornton said when asked if his teams confidence took a hit after failing in three straight chances to close out the series. "Were a confident group, still. You work 82 games to get home ice in these Game 7s. Now we just have to make it work." The Sharks and Red Wings are meeting in the conference semifinals for the second straight spring. Last year, San Jose ousted Detroit in five games before getting swept in the conference finals by Chicago. Both teams were without key forwards in Tuesdays game, as Ryane Clowe sat out for San Jose and Johan Franzen was sidelined for the Red Wings. Clowe did not travel with his team to Detroit for Game 6 due to what is being called an upper-body injury. Clowe, who leads the Sharks with 13 points in the postseason, was replaced on Tuesday by Ben Eager and is considered to be a game-time decision tonight. Meanwhile, Detroit was without Franzen on Tuesday after the Swede aggravated his sprained left ankle in Game 5. Franzen, who has two goals and one assist in eight playoff games this spring, was replaced by Mike Modano in the last game and is questionable for this evenings tilt. Detroit and the Sharks have met four times in the playoffs and each club has won two series. Detroit last ousted San Jose in six games during the 2007 conference semifinals. Hampton Jersey . Harvin Jersey . The Raptors were missing several key players, but took advantage of the injury absence of Dallas top scorer, Dirk Nowitzki. Toronto, which had dropped its past 10 games in Dallas and had lost nine of its previous 11 overall, got 12 points each from Amir Johnson and Leandro Barbosa. Troy Aikman Jersey Authentic . LOUIS -- The St. Jim McMahon Jerseys . Ramirez is expected to be in action tonight in the place where his major league career started, as the White Sox will tangle with the host Cleveland Indians in the second test of a three-game set from Progressive Field. Premier Stewart Bradley Jersey .S. Hockey Hall of Fame held its annual induction ceremony and dinner in Buffalo, a pair of guests instrumental to American hockey, past, present and future made for a memorable NHL Hour with Commissioner Gary Bettman. NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans Hornets owner George Shinn has agreed to sell the club to the NBA and the transaction could be completed within a couple days, according to a person familiar with the decision. The league has lined up New Orleans-born sports lawyer Jac Sperling, vice chairman of the NHLs Minnesota Wild, to be the NBAs administrator of the team and oversee its sale to a more permanent owner, the person told The Associated Press on Sunday on condition of anonymity because the move hasnt been publicly announced. Current Hornets President Hugh Weber will continue overseeing day-to-day operations of what will be the first NBA team to be owned by the league, the person said. NBA spokesman Tim Frank Sunday declined to comment on the sale. Shinn has been in negotiations to sell the team to minority owner and Louisiana native Gary Chouest since last spring, but talks have been stalled for months. Chouest, who owns 35 per cent of the team, runs a business that supplies vessels to the gulf oil industry. Recently, he has become concerned about his ability to run his family business while taking over the Hornets, said the person who confirmed the NBAs planned purchase of the club. It remained unclear on Sunday night if Chouest would keep his stake in the club if the NBA took over, or if he could be lured back to the table once the team is in the NBAs hands. Chouest has not responded to repeated calls to his office and emails requesting comment on the matter since he first entered negotiations to buy Shinns majority shares of the team. Attendance for Hornets games has been lower than the club hoped, despite a 13-7 record. Through 10 home games, average attendance has been 13,865. If it doesnt pick up, the Hornets could have the right to break their lease at the New Orleans Arena after this season. The lease runs through 2014, but the team is allowed to break it if average attendance falls below 14,735 during a two-year period. The cluub would have to notify the state of any intent to end the lease by March 31, 2011. Steelers Troy Polamalu Jersey. However, the person who spoke to The AP about the sale said the league wants the Hornets to remain in New Orleans. First-year Hornets coach Monty Williams said before Sunday nights Hornets game at San Antonio that he talked to players about the potential sale, but insisted it wouldnt be a distraction during what has been one of the better starts in franchise history. Williams said he did not know the details of the planned sale and added that he did not want to know. "Ive heard speculation since Ive been in New Orleans," Williams said. "Its not news to me." After the game, 109-84 loss that marked the Hornets sixth setback in eight games, forward David West called the teams ownership situation "a mess." "During the summer we felt it was going one way, and I guess things started changing," West said. "Who knows, itll be an experience, I would imagine, for us, the coaching staff and all parties involved." Hornets star guard Chris Paul said he didnt want to allow ownership matters to become a distraction. "Im trying to figure out how we got beat so bad right now by the Spurs," Paul said. "I control what I can control. Thats how our team plays." The Hornets have been based in the Big Easy since Shinn, the clubs founder, moved them from Charlotte in 2002. However, the team played most of its home games in Oklahoma City for two seasons from 2005-07 because of Hurricane Katrina. The 69-year-old Shinn was diagnosed last year with prostate cancer, which he said has been treated successfully. He decided after that experience that he wanted to move on from NBA ownership and instead focus on his faith and on charitable efforts to promote the fight against cancer. ------ Associated Press Writer Paul J.
